Training Room

There are lots of folks with an interest in security who come to me and say they want to learn more, but don’t know where to start. Well, this section is devoted to just those students. We will start with the basics- learning a bit about how Linux and computers in general work. Starting at the beginning, we will learn about the command line, how to set up and configure our systems, and even a bit of programming, always with the new student in mind. But, because our ultimate goal is to learn about security, these lessons will always keep that in mind, and I will show the reader a couple of cool security-related hacks that are not usually present in these typical sorts of introductions.
